Experienced Service Technician

Romano Ford is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Being a Certified Ford Technician, or an experienced Master Tech is a plus, but not required. As a Technician at Romano Ford, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford and any off-brand vehicles to the highest standards.

Pay: · Pay starts at $20 per flat rate hour, and we are willing to pay up to $40 flat rate for qualified candidates

Auto Technician Qualifications/experience:
  • BOCES certificate or degree/training in automotive technology
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an Automotive Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license is required
  • NYS inspectors' license is required
Job responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner while ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and advancements through ongoing training.

Lube Technician

Romano Ford has an immediate opening for an Automotive Lube Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Lube Tech but is not required. As a Lube Tech at Romano Ford, you will be responsible for changing oil, replacing air filters, rotating tires, among other maintenance and repair tasks.

Pay:
  • Pay starts at $30,000 per year and goes up to $50,000 for an experienced Lube Tech

Janitor/Vehicle Detailer

Romano Ford is looking for vehicle detailers to join our winning team. Are you dedicated, honest, detail orientated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Don’t wait, apply today!.   • Some janitorial tasks
